BroadPath Healthcare Solutions is immediately hiring work from home Licensed Medicare Health Insurance Agents. Our Licensed Medicare Health Insurance Sales Agents are responsible for responding to inbound calls from Medicare Members interested in purchasing health plans and making outbound calls to individuals who have requested additional information or follow up. As a work from home telesales agent with BroadPath, we will provide you with a Laptop, 4 Port USB Hub, Bhive Web Camera, and USB Headset during the course of your employment with us. Answer incoming phone calls from customers/members and identify the type of assistance and information the customer needs with the goal to convert the caller to a qualified lead and ultimately a sale.
Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information
Accurately explain the differences between various products, and assist customers/members in selecting a product that best meets their needs
May make outbound calls to prospective members to follow up on questions or to current members to review current or new products and services
Will be required to complete up to 12 hours of pre-work to include AHIP certification, and will be reimbursed, following training, and after successfully completing 3 weeks on the project
Resident/Non-Resident Life & Health license in OR. and WA. (or actively licensed in home state with ability to get nonresident for OR. & WA.)
AHIP Certification (or the ability to quickly renew/obtain)
Minimum 1-year experience in Medicare, Medicare Advantage healthplan telesales
High school diploma or GED
Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, determine need and consult with caller to provide appropriate product to fit their needs.
Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within the specified hours of operation including the training period, where lunches and breaks are scheduled, with the flexibility to adjust daily schedule, and work over-time and/or weekends, as needed
Salesforce/MARX/MMIS/Facets a plus
Previous work at home experience
