As a Technical Project Manager at Unite Us, you will refine our processes, prioritize features with stakeholders, coordinate product development, and apply analytical methods of project evaluation, leveraging metrics to visualize and guide the project lifecycle.
You should bring a passion for coaching, collaboration, and team building to help reshape and optimize processes and product delivery.
What You’ll Do:
Help define the role of an engineering TPM sourcing and bringing best practices to Unite Us
Lead agile ceremonies for two teams of 5-10 engineers
Manage technology projects, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery.
Communicate and resolve blockers to progress
Foster cross-team coordination, including requirements discovery and change control
Identify, maintain, and visualize metrics to guide the project lifecycle
Drive continuous team and process improvement
Promote a collaborative environment that develops agreeableness, trust, experimentation, creativity and innovation
Identify, communicate & handle dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans
Experience with establishing product management/software release cycles
Experience with Jira
Education and Experience:
BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience demonstrating a strong understanding of software development
Experience in project management, release management and/or engineering management working on software engineering projects.
Experience creating and managing tasks and tickets
Ability to follow highly technical discussions and absorb technical documentation
Prior project management experience managing agile practices for distributed teams
Experience with lifecycle management in a fast-paced software environment
