Title:Technical Product Manager

Our client, an established leader in the ecommerce payments and billing software space which is profitable and rapidly growing, is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join their team as a fully-remote permanent hire! While this company is headquartered in Los Angeles, most of their team is distributed, and this person will be joining an established team of product managers to specifically own API engineering and integrations. A software engineering background is an absolute must for this role, as this position will be primarily working with back-end engineers on a long list of API integration and engineering goals. Candidates with experience in lean startups are highly preferred as this is a very flat organization with a strong focus on personal execution from entry-level employees through executive leadership.

Work with existing and new 3rd party integration partners to add and evolve their integrations into the client’s platform.
Dive into technical details with partner engineering teams and drive technical solutions.
Write epics and detailed user stories for the engineering, QA, and design teams to fully understand the scope of functionality and business drivers, so they can estimate and deliver in a timely manner with high quality.
Facilitate and work in sprints with daily stand-ups, weekly grooming and planning sessions.
Prioritize features and define requirements for successful delivery.
Grow into a subject matter expert.
3+ yearsof product management experience in a fast paced technology driven company (preferably SaaS)
Near code level technical proficiency with modern APIs
Strategic experience with API clients and integrators
3+ years experiencein software engineering, with a strong focus on API engineering and integrations
An entrepreneurial spirit and excited to work on complex problems at scale
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
