Strategic Account Manager (m/w/d)
PURPOSE STATEMENT
Devise and implement successful sales strategies and build relationships with influential clinical, administrative and economic decision-makers within targeted groups.
YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Establishing professional relationships internally and within assigned key accounts, identifying and developing a stakeholder network, and reinforcing relationships at C-Suite level
Facilitation of contract negotiations involving all company products
Create a compete “bundle” of product and value-add services
Proactively leading the Strategic account mapping and planning process that develops mutualperformance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a mid- term period.
Co-ordinating involvement of Boston’s divisions and functions within the focus accounts to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, discount rates, and develops sales strategies to accommodate the goals of the company
Monitor reimbursement trends in the country, developing and executing the approach to include and maintain BSC products in the reimbursement system.
Help define negotiation parameters for tough economically constrained customer situations
Selling of our ADVANTICST portfolio of Services & Solutions, building robust long-term partnerships with accounts of focus.
Maintaining knowledge of the industry, continuously gathering information on changes in the healthcare market in order to question, change and prioritize the country strategy
Maintain awareness of industry trends and their impact on country sales activities
Coordinating Account Teams in executing and delivering against commercial agreements with accounts of focus, guaranteeing profitable growth of Boston Scientific book of business.
YOUR COMPETENCY PROFILE
Advanced Education Degree (Masters)
Demonstrable professional experience over 5-10 years experience in sales, including relevant experience in business development is a plus
Business fluent in German and proficient level of English is required
Project Management experience in healthcare from concept to execution
Relationship building/customer engagement skills (C-level )
Change management and problem-solving skills
Analytical skills to resolve complex issues in creative ways.
Proven ability to work and influence across a matrix environment.
Strong communicator internally and externally, builds networks, and partners with peers.
