Job Summary
We are looking for full-time Spanish Interpreters for our innovative Injury Triage service line! This position is like no other that you’ve ever worked.

This is a home based position! You get to help clients from the comfort of your home!
You won’t be running around a hospital or on your feet all day – it’s telephonic triage, which also means there is no exposure to high-risk infectious diseases.
Handle only one caller at a time. You keep 100% focus on the person you’re talking to, and only that person.

By joining our interpreting team, you will be helping thousands of employers better manage their workplace injuries and improve the quality of healthcare for their employees. Interpreters who are successful in this position must be able to navigate remote interpreting sessions, without the visual cues of in-person interpreting. Minimum requirements:
High School Education, including formal Spanish Language education
Completion of 40-hour Medical interpreting course
Previous interpreting experience is mandatory
Must have effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Fluency in oral and written communication in Spanish and English
Ability to enter data into software programs, understand and navigate MS Windows at no less than an intermediate level of proficiency
Must have access to high speed cable internet and Email programs
Experience with MS office including Excel preferred, with a typing speed of 40 wpm
While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to talk and/or hear
You are required to sit and use hands
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for computer and written work with the ability to adjust focus
Ability to work every other weekend is required
Ability to work on a computer for long periods of time
An understanding of occupational injury or related processes is preferred
Training:
The training will be completed from the comfort of your own home and will last 90 days. The first two weeks of training will be Monday – Friday, from 8:00am 4:00pm CT. After the first two weeks, your schedule may vary as you are paired with a preceptor for 3 weeks. Current available shifts are anywhere between 12pm and 8am CT. All training must be successfully completed within the 90-day time frame.
All permanent shifts are determined by our workforce management team at the time of a job offer and all schedules are in CT (Central Time zone). Changes to the assigned permanent schedule are not allowed within the first 15 months of employment.
