Senior Manager, Customer Onboarding Team
HubSpot’s Customer Onboarding team delivers world-class onboarding services that enable our customers to successfully adopt the HubSpot software and generate success for their business.
We are actively seeking a strategic, results-driven, and passionate leader for a new Senior Manager role on the team in North America. This Senior Manager will be a key leadership role, responsible for program & operational management as well as coaching and leading a team of Managers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This person will also manage the strategy and growth or our low-touch onboarding team & services. In partnership with the Director of Customer Onboarding, this role will also be instrumental in defining the future vision, strategy, and roadmap for some of HubSpot’s onboarding services.
This role will span people, program, and results-management, including:
Hiring, coaching and developing a group of high-performing people managers and their teams
Facilitating the strategy & execution of our low-touch onboarding services; continue to build out & manage this team
Managing operations on behalf of the Onboarding teams, such as training and education, program management and team development
Analyzing customer and team performance data to make informed decisions about operational and procedural changes.
Partnering with the Director of Customer Onboarding on the greater vision and strategy for the team, proactively identifying areas for innovation and improvement to help drive significant and sustained growth
Advocating for the customer internally and serving as an escalation point for your team
With the following demonstrable skills and experience:
4+ years of management experience, experience managing managers is also valuable (but not a requirement)
Proven leadership ability to coach, influence, develop, motivate and empower employees to achieve their best while maintaining high employee morale in a remote environment
Demonstrated global thinking and impactful related actions
A track record in successfully managing and driving change; is highly adaptable
A demonstrated track record of hitting goals and aligning a team around key metrics
Ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups (verbally and in written form)
Self-motivated, an active listener that is decisive in decision making.
Experience working effectively with all levels of management & stakeholders
Proven track-record of cross-functional alignment across departments
Ability to use data to analyze results and make data-driven decisions to identify and implement new opportunities to drive customer success
