Senior Accountant – Remote
Our Nashville-based client delivers scalable, centralized and high-touch finance and accounting service teams for high growth businesses. They work alongside clients, providing financial insights to help business owners and investors assess, forecast and act with confidence. Lead and coordinate a team of 2-4 staff accountants and interns
Supervise and participate in the performance of general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures in a multi-client environment
Assist in the design and implementation of client accounting processes and procedures to support financial functions
Detail review and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for client management, advisors and stakeholders in accordance with GAAP and other applicable accounting methods
Prepare budgets and lead analysis of client business trends and performance
Effectively communicate with third-party vendors and state agencies
Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial role with public or private company
Working knowledge and experience with a modern double-entry accounting system, such as QuickBooks, Xero, Intacct, Great Plains, NetSuite, Sage, etc.
Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, GAAP and other financial and accounting concepts
Ability to shift gears effectively in a multi-project environment while maintaining a detail-oriented focus
Self-motivated and strong work ethic with ability to work effectively in a team environment
