About the Role

The Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) Consultant will protect the internal and external security of the client’s information systems through the development of runbooks, and implementing protocols designed to respond to authentic or attempted system breaches. This role is also a facilitator of incident response exercises.

The Ideal Candidate

A security professional that excels at creating runbooks/playbooks and vigilantly monitoring IT system for suspicious activities that may indicate intrusion attempts. An effective client-facing communicator who coordinates deployment of resources to execute security protocols at any sign of suspicious activity.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in system security preferred.

Education may vary; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred, but not required. Advanced degree is a plus.

Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the senior management level.

Demonstrated ability to proactively reduce risk and successfully operate and manage complexity.

Resourceful problem-solving skills with ability to learn and adapt quickly to a dynamic environment.
