Varsity Tutors, a global educational technology company, is seeking a talented Sales Representative to join our team and help us continue our fast growth and expansion. We are a live learning platform that connects students and professionals with personalized instruction all across the world. To date, students have accessed more than three million hours of live instruction on the platform. Experts are available to meet in-person or through the companys award-winning online and mobile platforms.
Varsity Tutors recently closed a $50M Series C funding round, bringing its total funding to $107M. The round was led by Learn Capital, with participation from The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and Technology Crossover Ventures. The funds will enable Varsity Tutors to further its vision of seamlessly connecting experts and learners in any subject, anywhere, at any time.
Our business is growing rapidly throughout Europe and we are looking for a talented individual who can continue to help sell our innovate learning technology and products. This is a full-time, work-from-home position, responsible for interacting with prospective customers in a high volume B2C telesales environment. The professional in this role helps provide customized solutions for the educational needs of students and families through a consultative sales approach.

2+ years of experience in business development or inside sales
Demonstrated sales ability of innovative products/services, preferably in B2C telesales
Ability to work independently and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines
Quiet workspace/home office with a strong broadband connection
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with CRM applications is preferred
Demonstrated work ethic and consistent over-achievement
Proven track record of exceeding targets and expectations
Good understanding of the National Curriculum and the education system in the UK is preferred, but not required
Understand the needs of prospective clients in order to effectively communicate the benefits of our products in order to sell tutoring packages
High volume telesales, consulting daily with warm leads who have asked for more information about our services
Achieve monthly sales targets set by management
Manage lead records to ensure positive end to end service to prospective clients
Assist with some client service responsibilities, ensuring high-quality service and timely assistance to our clients(INDHP)
