If so, Guardian is seeking a Regional Account Manager to act as the overall relationship manager throughout the lifecycle of a case from notification of sale to the successful delivery of service administration for key accounts in Multi-Life Disability.
A self-starter who is fueled by collaboration and complex problem solving, able to transform conceptual thinking into executable insights who thrives partnering across the company with enrollment managers, underwriters, wholesalers, product creators, market developers, technology and service partners as well as leadership.
Minimum of 5 years of Account Management experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.
Ability to quickly anticipate and exceed the needs of customers.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
An aptitude for independent problem solving and service recovery.
An aptitude to quickly learn technology.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A willingness to challenge the status-quo and drive change.
Knowledge of the Multi-Life disability marketplace a plus.
Under minimal guidance in a high volume, fast-paced environment, you will leverage your skills in:
Relationship management to partner with our sales, service and technology teams, brokers, clients, and other members of the Multi-Life Disability department to ensure a smooth and exceptional overall customer experience.
You will be poised to manage our most critical relationships (both client and broker).
Relationship management will be balanced with strong communications skills (including influencing and negotiation), and complex problem solving.
Collaborate across teams to deliver a Multi-Life Disability solution.
Understand current market trends to evolve the Multi-Life Disability product for new audiences.
Become an expert user of key systems including administrative tools, online enrollment, and HTML development and execution.
Support key multi-life projects as needed during development and/or testing phases.
Continuously strives to provide superior customer service.
Demonstrates self-awareness and embraces feedback.
