We’re looking for passionate technology experts who want to help others learn about computer science, information technology, and programming.
As a CS/IT Lesson Writer, you’ll be:
Writing 500 to 1000-word lessons on granular concepts from the fields of information technology, computer science, and programming
Writing short, multiple choice quizzes to ensure that students retain information in lessons
Working with Study.com’s team of reviewers to revise and edit the lessons they’ve written to meet Study.com publishing standards
As a lesson writer, you’ll receive the following:

What we’re looking for in an CS/IT Lesson Writer
We’re looking for professionals and teachers passionate in their field who can contribute to our library of short, engaging online lessons. Our ideal contract lesson writer is creative, collaborative, and responsive, and has the following experience:
Expert knowledge in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, and/or one or more computer programming languages
Experience teaching or training others on IT, cybersecurity, and computer science topics
Experience with R programming, Windows server configurations, and/or mobile & network forensics is a plus!
Study.com lessons are designed to help students learn when they’re on-the-go in any location. They’re intended to be bite-sized so that students can complete them throughout their day when they find free time. Each lesson should typically take a student only 5-10 minutes to complete.
