The Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and administering the company’s compensation programs. This includes conducting research, gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to management on compensation-related matters. The Compensation Analyst will also play a key role in the design and implementation of new and revised compensation programs.
Outcomes and Activities:
This position will work from home. Occasional planned travel to an office location may be required.
Conduct market research and analysis to determine the company’s competitive position in terms of compensation and benefits.
Analyze and evaluate jobs to decide proper salary levels, job classifications, and FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) status.
Maintain correct and up-to-date job descriptions and salary data in the company’s HRIS.
Administer the annual merit increase and bonus processes, including managing the system, preparing communications, and supplying training to managers.
Collaborate with HR (Human Resources) Business Partners to support team members on compensation-related inquiries.
Help with the design and implementation of new or revised compensation plans, including developing guidelines and communication protocols.
Provide compensation education for team members and leaders to enhance overall awareness of the company’s compensation philosophy.
Own and maintain Compensation page on PrideNet.
Prepare the company submissions to third party compensation surveys.
Coordinates the annual merit process and variable compensation programs, including recommending changes for continuous improvement.
Prepare annual bonus accrual calculation monthly including journal entry posting, financial statement analytic, and general ledger account reconciliation.
Prepare quarterly profit-sharing and holiday bonus calculations.
Aid with the restricted stock administration.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to compensation.
Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
Participate in special projects.
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.
