Pantheon is looking for a motivated, proactive and energetic individual to lead our Technical Content Writers who produce all our documentation. This team is essential to the success of our customers developing on our platform. We rely on these individuals to be friendly, knowledgeable, and natural problem-solvers.
Cool Things You’ll Do
Your primary responsibility will be: to lead our documentation team to strategize, develop, write, edit and maintain content for the Pantheon platform.
Lead our team of technical writers to drive career growth and opportunity with strong customer focus
Develop, manage and track KPIs for measuring the success of our documentation
Drive the strategy and planning to, develop, write, edit and maintain content for the end to end user on the Pantheon platform
Analyze data to determine, recommend, and plan new processes in the technical writing function to drive quality and effectiveness
Manage documentation contributions from our internal teams and our developer community
Engage with our customers to learn how we can improve their documentation experience
Partner with our internal teams: Support, Product, and Engineering teams about user feedback, product changes, and technical product information that inform our documentation
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or equivalent
6+ years of technical communication experience
4+ years of people management experience
A background and knowledge of Drupal, Wordpress, and general web development
Ability to create high-quality, innovative content for software developers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
Bonus Points For:
Having D.O. and/or Wordpress.org profiles
Being a regular attendee at DrupalCamps and/or WordCamps
