Responsible for overseeing the account manager’s and loan set-up responsibilities to meet performance targets within the wholesale lending division. Perform all duties and ensure all associates are trained to perform in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the account manager and loan set-up responsibilities to meet performance targets within the wholesale lending division.
Train all associates on all current policies/procedures as well as on-going revisions.
Review process flows to continually improve or streamline workflow.
Oversee the operations outward facing to the external customer to ensure all service level agreements are met.
Act as a Liaison between Sales, Underwriting, Funding and Account Management functions.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and appropriate back up is available at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:
Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions
Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the department’s credibility, operations, and services
Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on long-term basis
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy
Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical information
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:
Bachelor’s degreeor equivalent work experience.
One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role.
Eight (8) or more years of directly related mortgage industry experience.
Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.
