Description

Soon Swimply will enter a key inflection point on its growth path as we expect to substantially scale our company over the next coming months. Our marketplace will soon be widely available throughout the country as we reach to exponentially more hosts and guests. We have several core and foundational data investments in the preceding months that we expect this role to contribute greatly to.

As Swimply’s first hire on the data team, you will drive the company’s ability to leverage data in every decision making process. From the executive suite down, there is a desperate desire for the greater use of data in identifying opportunity areas, understanding key successes and failures in the company, and in guiding our long term strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for getting data-driven insights into every corner of the business through reporting, analysis, and through your influence in each team’s prioritization process.

Requirements

Qualifications:

3+ years experience in SQL (preferably Redshift/PostgreSQL)

Experience in developing data pipelines and ETLs

Experience in Python or R for analysis and model development

A proven record in working with product and engineering teams in driving decisions based on data

Nice to Haves:

Experience with Looker

Experience in aggregating and reporting geospatial data

Computer & IT , SQL , Statistics , Analyst , Python
