The Global Consolidation Manager will be a key addition to the finance organization as eXp Realty continues to expand around the globe. eXp Realty is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Global Consolidation Manager to ensure that all international entity financial close and reporting processes are consistent with US GAAP for consolidation purposes. The successful candidate provides accounting and financial oversight for our international entities at the corporate level, and is primarily responsible for the completeness, accuracy and compliance of all financial records for multiple legal entities. This person is integral to our consolidation process and will work with finance managers around the globe during our month end closing process to ensure that the accounting for each international entity is recorded timely and accurately.
Manage and streamline the international entity accounting close process for multiple international entities
Manage company worldwide monthly and quarterly accounting consolidation of domestic and international subsidiaries
Lead/support new global ERP implementation in accounting and consolidation work stream
Reviewer in monthly close process for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, other assets, certain accruals, leases, equity accounts, & others at consolidation
Reviewer of balance sheet account reconciliations
Coordinate the global effort to ensure that International entities statutory accounts and annual reports are prepared and presented in accordance with applicable GAAP and local regulations
Record accounting activity in the corporate accounting system
Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure intercompany agreement terms and settlements are paid accurately
Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations in accordance with ASC 810
Research international accounting guidance, assess ASC 830 requirements and develop policies and procedures that are aligned to GAAP guidance
Support SEC Reporting process through preparation of leadsheets and work papers and analysis of consolidated and consolidating results
Ensure proper internal controls are being followed
Able to meet strict deadlines and work with limited supervision
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
7+ years of GL Accounting experience in a multi-country/currency environment.
Extensive knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
Experience with general ledger function and the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and analyses
Comfortable working with people outside of the US in multiple time zones.
