The Strategic Accounts team is looking for someone who is passionate about education and inspired by the possibilities of Amplify products! In the Educational Consultant position, you will meet with school building leaders in the School District of Washington D.C. to introduce them to Amplify’s core Science curriculum, Amplify Science, and to help support teachers in our current pilot schools. The Educational Consultant will partner with the President of Amplify, Strategic Accounts and the Strategic Account Specialist to support and drive strategic campaigns with the intention of maximizing adoptions of Amplify programs. Use your wealth of experience and background in education to provide mentorship for educators and strategic accounts initiatives. Design, develop, and implement sales strategy activities and partner with the strategic accounts team to set team sales goals
Present Amplify’s solutions to potential customers in an effort to acquire pilots and adoptions, with a focus on Amplify Science
Track, monitor, and record all sales activity (current leads, price quote requests, demo requests at strategic district-level accounts, etc.) and regularly share all relevant parties
Facilitate initial training and ongoing support to pilot schools and teachers, ensuring that they are able to implement Amplify Science optimally
Observe individual pilot teachers to provide mentorship and feedback
Develop a deep understand of Amplify’s portfolio of products, with the ability to clearly articulate our value proposition to K-12 decision-makers
Display a solid understanding of the K-12 market, especially in the area of curriculum and assessment adoptions
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years work experience in the K-12 education field
1+ years in an educational leadership or coaching role
Existing relationships with school building educators in The School District of Washington D.C.
Experience public speaking with strong presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
