Your chief responsibility will be driving an employee-centric focus across the broader organization to facilitate high-performance and amazing experiences. On any given day this may include:
Apply or create tools, templates and methodologies that contribute to internal communications effectiveness. Particularly those that promote best-practices for a remote organization.
Lead the engagement survey program (doesn’t exist yet!); driving participation, analyzing data and trends, and developing and sharing the story it tells
Ensure results are recognized and celebrated
Performance management and development
Lead and manage talent performance programs (i.e. performance reviews, performance improvement plans, career development/coaching, etc.)
Establish a continuous performance and improvement effort. Regularly report the status of performance improvement efforts and impacts.
Improve managers’ competencies at driving delivering highest-impact feedback
Onboarding and offboarding
Work with teams to enhance their specific 0-30-60-90 day onboarding curriculum, ensuring new employees ramp up as quickly and effectively as possible
Manage and develop company-wide new hire programs (eg orientation, buddy program, and HR’s new hire check-ins)
Facilitate exit interviews and use the feedback to drive meaningful change
Diversity and inclusion
Drive company-wide D&I initiatives and support team-specific ones (i.e. recruiting practices)
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, community partners and outside organizations to further our diversity efforts
Significant employee engagementexperience: You’ve touched internal communications, building and maintaining culture, and fostering inclusivity in the past. This is a must.
Performance management: You’ve worked to improve employee performance before and understand how to best measure success.
