Title:CRM Sales Tech Staff Writer
The CRM Sales Tech Specialist, Staff Writer will report to the Director of Content and Staff Editor (PH).
Job Overview: The Staff Writer role creates high-quality, authoritative content for small businesses with a focus on customer relationship management software (CRM).She/he/they may work PH or US hours.This role is highly collaborative and works closely with our Research Associates, and US-based Content Producers and the Director of Content.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Writes publishable first drafts of 2-4 articles each week
Consistently meet deadlines with articles of the highest quality
Able and willing to take direction from a Content Producer
Understands and utilizes our product-scoring rubric to inform your articles
Can clearly articulate the best answer to our reader’s questions with the guidance of our Content Producer
Understands keyword research
As needed, assist with work on quizzes, graphics, and lead magnets (checklists, templates, etc.)
You have complete command of the English language (spoken and written) and pay close attention to grammar and spelling
You have previous topic-specific research and writing experience and can share samples of your work
You have demonstrated meticulous attention to detail
You are highly collaborative and organized
You love finding ways to keep operations efficient while not letting quality suffer
You are self-motivated and able to manage your time with little oversight
You are open to feedback, and strive to learn something new every day
You are passionate about delivering the best answers to people’s questions
You are comfortable working in a startup environment where things change quickly
Tools We Use: G Suite, Slack, Trello, Wordpress, Guru, Zoom *It’s fine if you have not used these tools before; just be enthusiastic to learn them quickly.
