Our client, a well-known nonprofit healthcare facility, is looking for aremotecontract specialist to join their team, who is local to Saint Paul, MN!

Title: Contract Specialist

Remote (Must be local to Saint Paul, MN)

Contract: 3 months with potential for extension!

Pay Range: $38.50-$40/hour

Description:

The Contracting Specialist II is responsible for developing, negotiating, and maintaining system-wide contracts for Purchase Services commodities for assigned areas.

Responsibilities also include:

Working with templates to develop negotiating strategies, identifies contracts risk, and offers alternative solutions to such risks; consult with senior leaders as needed.

After contracts are negotiated and executed, responsibilities include ongoing contract management (to determine necessity for amendments or extension of contracts, compliance to contractual obligations, and/or termination) and administration.

Work to update the contract repository for all of your assigned contracts.

Develop and maintain relationships with both suppliers and with internal customers, i.e. department managers

Work to continuously maintain contract tracking report to ensure all assigned contracts are completed in an expedient manner.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience:

Required

Three+ years of relevant work experience in drafting, revising, and negotiating Agreements.

Self-starter, good communicator, ability to follow up on tasks, independent worker.

3+ years of experience working as a Paralegal, in either a Law Firm or Legal Department drafting, revising, and negotiating Agreements.

Paralegal law firm or legal department

Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in either Paralegal or Legal Studies.

Any Bachelor’s Degree w/ Post-Bachelorette Certificate in Paralegal Studies
