Business Development Specialist
City Wide Maintenance of Central Maryland is seeking an outgoing, tenacious individual to join our B2B Sales Team. The BDS will work remotely to gather intelligence to generate new business opportunities by researching local markets from healthcare to corporate offices to schools ? to show them how our services can help them create cleaner, healthier environments for their customers and employees. Our valued BDS will schedule appointments, record client data accurately in the CRM system, performing routine follow up.
You will be responsible for finding and calling prospects, and scheduling appointments for our Outside Sales team. The Ideal candidate will live in the Central Maryland area, have experience in call center environments, outbound calling, telemarketing, or other phone-based experience.
Hourly pay (for full time OR part-time positions) ranges from $12 to $18 per hour, depending upon experience and fit, plus potential bonus and commissions. Flexible schedule available!! Our bonus structure for qualified appointments + commission on new business, combined with hourly pay ? allows you to influence how much you earn. We like to promote from within, so you may even identify opportunity for advancement.
Research businesses that would benefit from our service
Perform outbound calls (+/- 80 calls per day for a full time person, part-time is +/- 40)
Manage and update Microsoft CRM database
Schedule qualified appointments for the outside sales team
Achieve or exceed sales metric targets for your position
Prepare accurate reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis as defined from time to time
Other duties that may be assigned to meet business needs
1-3 years Telemarketing experience selling services to businesses
Engaging, Professional phone voice, Articulate, Compelling and creative in verbal communication. Ability to engage prospects to qualify them based on pre-scripted questions delivered in a conversational manner
Experience prospecting in a high-volume sales environment
Demonstrated ability to meet performance goals
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience using online sources to get information
Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM) skills
Likes to WIN as part of a team
