What our team does:
Pinion Accounting Services (PAS) provides back-office solutions for our clients’ accounting, finance, and HR needs. The team specializes in everything from bookkeeping, to oversight of accounting records, and even payroll processing.
Each day, our team members pursue a variety of opportunities and tasks as they oversee projects like:
Vendor invoice coding and A/P entry
Vendor payment and processing
A/R invoicing and cash receipts reconciliations
Financial and operational reporting
Operational strategy and consulting
The Bookkeeper should expect to:
Provide monthly bookkeeping for clients, including posting journal entries
Prepare and analyze month-end balance sheet and income statements for multiple clients
Prepare bank reconciliations
Prepare annual form 1099
Prepare business property statements
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and analysis relating to accounting information
Answer client questions regarding software, books, and reports
Provide other miscellaneous or basic accounting related tasks
What you’ll need for this position:
A minimum 2 years of experience in Bookkeeping
Demonstrated attention to detail, time management skills, ability to prioritize, and adapt to change
Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
Desire to be a self-starter who will see opportunities to add value beyond an assignment and will run projects through to completion
Critical thinking skills and ability to modify procedures or resources to fit the needs of the task or situation
Willingness to perform under pressure when deadlines call for swift action
Capable of learning and recalling important job functions and processes that may occur infrequently
Ability to multi-task without sacrificing accuracy
Collaborative and effective in working with different leadership styles and a variety of individuals at all levels within the organization
Ability to learn multiple software programs
Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
Must be located in the US for remote work
Experience serving in an accounting position within a professional services environment is preferred
QuickBooks accounting software and Xero experience
