Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner SME Immediate Need
Franklin University has an opportunity for an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and assist with development of curriculum for a new program track. The SME will be responsible for developing 5 Adult-Gerontology Acute Care course descriptions and mapping to Essentials, NONPF competencies, and program outcomes. In addition, the SME will develop the course syllabi including outcomes, preliminary books/articles, topic outline and at least one sample assessment (assignment) per course. The ideal candidate will have availability to submit the requested work within the next 30 days.
Position Requirements: Board certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required. A minimum of 3 years of practice experience. A Master’s degree or post-graduate certificate: DNP or Ph.D. Nursing preferred. Experience in education for this specialization (clinical or didactic) preferred. Prior teaching or instructional design experience at the university level is preferred.
