Accounting Principals is looking to hire anAccounts Payable Specialistin Austin, Texas. This job is a temp-to-hire position and candidates must have recent high-volume accounts payable experience for consideration. As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the full-cycle processing of vendor invoices for multiple entities.This job will offer an opportunity to work with a tenured team in a fun work environment with 100% remote option.The compensation for the Accounts Payable Specialist job is $20-21/hr.

Duties and responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

Resolve invoice discrepancies by utilizing workflow technology and work with appropriate business units to determine cause and solution

Process a high volume of purchase invoices according to defined policies and procedures

Prepare weekly check run

Utilize 3 way matching concept of purchase order to payment

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

Must have excellent communication skills to work with both internal and external customers effectively

Ability to handle stressful situation and remain focused on objective

Recent high-volume and multi-entity accounts payable experience

Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience
