For nearly 50 years, NWEA has developed innovative pre-K12 assessments, including their flagship interim assessment, MAP Growth, and their reading fluency and comprehension assessment, MAP Reading Fluency.
What you will do
As an Associate Program Manager, they are responsible for providing support in one or more key areas across a program(s) and partner(s). One of your key responsibilities is to support the successful delivery of programs on time, and on budget according to the defined scope, timeline, and cost. They collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external partners as needed.
Responsibilities
Assists in the effective implementation and coordination of assigned programs or program collections.
Collaborates with the Partner Support Team to provide support for the program(s).
Takes the lead in the educator recruitment process for committee meetings and associated logistics planning.
Supports the production of materials for the assigned program(s).
Facilitates internal meetings when necessary, documenting program status and risks to ensure the communication of stakeholder needs.
Actively participates in cross-functional team and partner meetings.
Contributes to the ongoing monitoring of risks and deliverables for the assigned program(s).
Escalates issues to the senior program manager/director when necessary.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of program status upon request.
Interacts with both internal and external stakeholders.
Takes charge of field communication planning and execution as needed and where permitted by program leadership.
Establishes networks with key decision-makers within internal functional areas.
Cultivates a culture of high-level customer service for all internal and external partners interfacing with the program portfolio and/or operational group.
Investigates time tracking irregularities on assigned program(s) under the guidance of a Senior Program Manager, Program Manager, or other senior staff.
Proactively works towards reducing costs, increasing work efficiencies, enhancing partner satisfaction, and maintaining quality assurance.
Supports process improvement within program management.
What you will need
Bachelor’s degreewith a minimum of 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
Alternatively, one of the following combinations may be considered:
High School diploma with 3 years of experience; Associate degree with 1-2 years of experience;
Master’s degree with 0-1 years of experience; Ph.D or Law degree with 0-1 year of experience
Minimum 3 years of business experience, preferably within a program management team. Strong proficiency in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Preferred experience in the education or assessment industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Proven organizational abilities.
Capability to work independently and manage one’s schedule effectively….
