Overview
AIR is seeking apart-time Education Research K-12 School Site Recruitment Specialistto join ourEducators and Instruction (E&I)team. Our researchers and practitioners work to achieve solutions to complex policy and practice problems. The duration of this role is temporary and will span at least six months. The objective of this role will be to participate in a nationwide evaluation of an instructional coaching program designed to help middle school teachers improve writing instruction.
Our E&I team is driven by our mission to make the world a better, more equitable place through education.
Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the United States (U.S.) or from one of our U.S. office locations.This does not include U.S. territories.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the position include:
Collaborate with local service providers in developing recruitment strategies for target K12 school districts.
Deliver informational presentations to school districts.
Cultivate relationships with school district administrators, superintendents, local service providers, and other key stakeholders.
Guide school districts through recruitment process from initial presentation to signing commitment forms.
Respond to district questions and provide additional recruitment documentation as needed (such as research applications).
Maintain accurate and timely records of recruitment activities and provide regular updates to project leadership.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
Bachelors degreewith a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience working with K-12 school districts and an understanding of the K-12 education context.
Responsiveness to district and other stakeholder needs.
Experience with online records.
Experience with Airtable a plus but not required, as long as you are willing to learn.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills.
