The Role
This Business Operations Manager will be part of our international team and help us scale our business outside the US. Working directly with Whatnot’s international leadership team, this role will lead large cross-functional initiatives and solve complicated, unstructured problems.
With the amount of opportunity that exists internationally, this role is a terrific way to get your hands dirty in a start-up within a start-up. It allows driven individuals to have outsized impact and learn about the business while contributing to critical initiatives.
Lead cross-functional projects to scale functions and capabilities internationally
Proactively identify inhibitors to growth and find ways to solve them
Help various parts of the international business mature
Define and measure critical business metrics
Drive efficiency and transparency in processes
You

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field
5-6+ years experience in consulting or a fast-growing startup
Curious to learn about different parts of the business and how to pull certain levers to grow faster
Low ego – happy to do anything it takes to help us grow
Able to move remarkably fast with little structure or oversight
Proven leadership and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated ability to solve problems using data and process improvement
Nice to Have
Experience working on a marketplace or a two-sided platform
Experience or passion for buying and selling in online marketplace communities
Foreign languages
SQL & Dashboard experience

Compensation
For UK-based applicants: 120,000/year – 140,000/year + benefits + stock options
The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity in the form of stock options.
